For now, here's the article posted by pao_sanggre in GMA's YGroups.
(I JUST KNOW a certain someone *ehemkairuehem* who'll be reacting AGAINST it. And that one SHOULD COMMENT. >:])
Sorry, but I'll post the translations later. But to sum it all, it basically says Regine Velasquez will do the lead characters in Full House and Kim Sam Soon remake in GMA7 (Philippine Television).
Source: Balita Newspaper (Entertainment Section)
Ano
ba, Songbird, grow-up.
Now figure that.
SPARE ME.
I'll not stress myself and post my reactions later.

I was planning to make an entry in my blog too but since you specially mentioned me here, I better comment as well. XD
Honestly, I doubt the credibility of that article. I don't know why...I just do. But should they pursue the idea, better think again.
I'm not speaking as the person who literally lives that drama ( for 3 years TODAY ) but as the person who has concern for the image that they will leave on my beloved. It's like replacing a pristine chandelier with an ugly AND old one in the White House. Yes, it's THAT bad.
When Hye Kyo was casted for HJE's part, MANY doubted if she can carry out the bubbly HJE since she was known to be on tearjerker dramas. But she proved them all wrong. I'm saying that, MAYBE Regine COULD do it...ONLY IF SHE HAVE THE SKILLS AND WASN'T THAT OLD ENOUGH TO PLAY THAT PART. Let's face it, would you even enjoy HER version of Three Bears? My answer is as good as yours.
I just pity the one who will take LYJ's part for he will surely have alot of antifans I'm telling you. *ehemfirstonewouldbemeehem*
I've told you this before...that even some fans who also lives the drama do not want to see a sequel...what more of a remake?
There was an instance where Full House, yes the house, made a special appearance in the k-drama Hello! Miss. It was only in one episode and they basically did nothing but sleep on the living room because they were locked inside...but it felt SO different. Just seeing other artists other than our couple inside the house felt weird. How about seeing others ACTUALLY play it? Although it's a good time to save energy and just turn off the television right?!
Come to think of it, what could they possibly gain by doing this? A BIG FAT N-O-T-H-I-N-G. It would only suffer a hell lot of comparisons. MARK.MY.WORD.
As for MNIKSS, eventhough it's my second favorite drama, I know a certain someone (who loves Sam Shik) who's more than willing to join our protests. Bwhaahhaha!
I bet Cha would be rampaging her way to GMA 7 and would make a noise rivaling those that're rallying along the streets of Manila once she knows of the news on my latest entry.
I couldn't agree any better with what you've posted.
I mean, C'MON.
Let's face it. Regine SHOULD grow up and make it into proportion with her age. This proposal is a ONE HECK of a daring move by GMA, one I wouldn't have thought would happen in Philippine television. Yes, they became popular with Marimar, but only because our own entertainment industry had strong ties with that of Latin flavor. We are strongly influenced by the Western side of the world that we think, act, and have our culture similar to them. Eastern culture is another drama. And I won't waste my space in putting that here because it is as evident as it could get.
...And casting Regine to do that only makes it worse. Sorry Regine, but Filipinos love fresh faces. You had your limelight, and that's that. I'm not prejudicing her, but knowing what the Filipinos' attitude towards these cases, it'd definitely be frowned upon. Some might like it, yes, but the majority would be the objection.
Gahh. This has already turned to my reaction in my next entry. XD I guess I'll add more later.
